Fair Tax? No, not by a long shot. This tax is aimed at working people of middling means who spend the bulk of their homes on food, shelter and clothing. The wealthy escape taxation on the overwhelming majority of their income. Huckabee is a War Pig who is being boosted because the other War Pigs have failed to take flight in the polls.
The only ''fair'' tax is an income tax on gross incomes with no exemptions--this would get at the tremendous amount of corporate income that escapes taxation through accounting definitions. The tax should be the same for all and go up and down by the same percentage for all as the Congress sets the rate.
